Winterim 2014

Students test their solar ovens and solar cars in the "Green Design" class. The ambient temperature was around 12 degrees Celsius and the oven temperatures went up to around 52 degrees.

The girls are building a scale model of a "green" home

Here is a video of the solar car in action.


The girls built solar ovens and were able to generate temperatures well above the ambient temperature. The temperatures weren't high enough to bake cookies, but it was warm inside those ovens.
